The name

“Ipso” is a Latin word meaning “itself” or “by that fact itself”. When used in the name “ipso cell”, it means “as a direct consequence of the cell”.

It also represents the acronym induced pluripotent stem cell, one of the main technologies we apply in our work with stem cells and organoids.
